Specsources has donated use of its interior design furniture specification software for use by GROW Wildlife, Inc. to aid in development of their new wildlife veterinary hospital to be located just south of Atlanta, Georgia.
The GROW Wildlife Hospital of Georgia will be constructed as a state-of-the-art medical facility seeking platinum level certification from The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). The LEED Green Building Rating System was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and provides a suite of standards for environmentally sustainable construction.
The wildlife hospital will specialize in the treatment of all species of native wildlife including mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians that have been injured due to urban expansion and man’s encroachment into their natural habitat.
Wade Ballance, VP of Operations commented, “Specsources is proud to donate use of its software to GROW Wildlife in order to assist with the completion of The GROW Center. As animal lovers, we feel it’s an enormously important cause and hope others in the Architecture and Design community will also contribute to this worthy endeavour.”
